In having grown up immersed in rap, or hip-hop, music culture, I became enamored with the poetic artistry behind some of it. I say, “some of it”, not because some of it is not at all artistic, as I believe that even what is often viewed as being the most atrocious of rap music is still not completely void of at least a childlike art, but because I am just not at all enamored by some rap pieces.

Over the years of my being a rap music “fan” of sorts, though I admit my previous fanaticism to have been utterly foolish in retrospect, I garnered some skill of my own in composing similar works of art. That skill developed into a deep love for particular types of poetic expression and God has certainly used me to express ideas in the form of poetry which I happen to believe is rather beautiful, even where it previously lacked the desire to honor God through it, for it illustrates various facets of His revelation even where it was not so intended.

With this portion of the web site, I hope to find a stable home for these poetic works I’ve developed. I currently have various pieces scattered on hard drives or on the web and I was hoping to make this a place where they could always be found. It is an overarching goal of mine that I make an accessible public home for all my various projects so that those whom I love dearly, such as my daughter, will have as clear a representation as possible, of what I believe and hold dear, especially in the advent that God should remove me from the burdens of this current life.
