Sorry for the late response. You know, I’m not well versed enough with Flash 8 to know for sure, but I imagine it would all be based on whatever widget it is you’d be using for the container (canvas).

You know, I never thought of this. I imagine removing all the children from the chatCanvas would remove the textarea as well so I don’t think that would work. If you’ve found a solution at this point I’d love to hear it. Til then, I’ll be working through it in my mind.

its not working proper.
